The Eastern 4-H Center features over 250 acres of pristine Pocosin forests, broad bays, estuaries, wetlands, and sandy shores that make the ideal setting for recreation and team-building programs. Programs help groups build trust, improve communication, increase conflict resolution skills, problem solve, and grow a cohesive team identity. Whether you are looking to set the classroom culture for your new group of students, or build a better professional team, our ground initiatives, team challenge course, high ropes course, and outdoor recreation opportunities will provide the ultimate team-building experience. Day and overnight programs include on-site meal services. The center provides overnight lodging for groups in executive lodge (hotel-style) rooms and group cabins that are climate-controlled.
Our first priorities are safety and customized instruction for your group. We maintain a ratio of one certified instructor to a maximum of fifteen participants. The challenge course and high ropes equipment are inspected regularly and comply with The Association for Challenge Course Technology’s national standards. The Eastern 4-H Center is also American Camp Association accredited, adhering to the highest standards for program, facility, and operational quality in the country.
Combine team-building and recreation opportunities with our Environmental Education program for an optimal school field trip experience.
