There are few tools as powerful as the camp experience to positively impact the lives of young people. The Eastern 4-H Center can serve 900 youth every summer through overnight camps, day camps, specialty camps, and programs for teens. While at camp, youth gain critical life skills such as independence, a sense of belonging, and responsibility, all while participating in joyful learning experiences.
The Eastern 4-H Center offers a variety of camps for different ages and interests. Below, learn more about each type of camp and register for specific camp sessions. Summer Camp Options
Traditional Overnight Camp
The traditional overnight camp experience for campers ages 8 to 12. A 6-day, 5-night experience. Activities include kayaking, archery, arts & crafts, swimming, team building, climbing wall, and more.
Day Camp
The day camp experience at the Eastern 4-H Center allows local youth to experience all the fun of summer camp with the comfort of sleeping in their own bed every night. This program is available for campers ages 5 – 12 and it is for 5 days. Lunch and an afternoon snack are provided daily.
Camps for Teens
The Eastern 4-H Center hosts Adventure Camp for teens ages 13 to 14, and a Leader-In-Training program for teens ages 15 to 17. This is a 6-day, 5-night experience. The ideal next steps for older campers!
Specialty Camps
Cloverbud Camp is an overnight camp experience for younger campers ages 5 to 7. This is a 5-day, 4-night experience. Camp Canvasback focuses on waterfowl conservation and shooting sports safety. This camp is for ages 10 – 17 and is a 6-day, 5-night experience.
